Let's Talk Behaviours
Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has launched a fresh and inspiring local strategic direction. It confirms why we are here: to provide outstanding care for every patient, every time. And it tells us what we must all help to deliver: excellent, sustainable care that improves lives. It also outlines how we aim to work, through our STAR values: Service, Teamwork, Ambition and Respect.
But until recently, the expectations for how we behave have been unclear.
To achieve this, we hosted Let's Talk Behaviours - a Trust-wide conversation that asked all staff "What do we expect from each other?"
Based on the thousands of inputs from colleagues, we are co-creating a clear, simple and shared set of behaviours aligned to our STAR values.
Let's Talk Behaviours is now closed, but you can still log in to see what was said.

Why we did this
This is an exciting opportunity for all of us to reconnect with our STAR values be co-creating a set of behaviours that support our values and our work.
We want all staff to get involved and tell us what you think about how we should treat our patients, families, carers and each other at work.
The Let's Talk Behaviours forum is designed to facilitate collaboration, co-creation and psychological safety.
